Welcome to Sri Sarada Brahmavidya Kendra, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu.

Sri Sarada Brahmavidya Kendra was founded by Pujya Swami  Yogeshwaranananda (1899-1990) for the traditional study of Advaita Vendanta, Sanskrit, Yoga and other classical Indian disciplines.

It is a place where knowledge of Brahman, i.e.,  knowledge about oneself, is taught and  learnt along with study of Sanskrit, Yoga, and Vedic chanting. The kendra is situated at the Blue hills called Nilgiris. Coonoor is a hill station in the Nilgiris and lies at 1900m above mean sea level. The study of Vedanta which involves attaining peace and inner growth is therefore best facilitated by the calm and quiet the place offers.
